As Pontes is actually the town council that offers the highest economic incentives for any investment plan. As Pontes is eligible territory for the following subvention instruments:

Economic regional incentives promoted by the Economic MinistrY.
Funds for investment projects of IGAPE (Xunta de Galicia).
Funds for investment projects that generate jobs in mine regions (Institute for the re-organization of the coal mine).
0% interest loan for projects located in reindustrialization territories granted by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
Additional funds for projects that generate jobs.

Other public institutions such as BEI, CDTI, SEPIDES, XesGalicia and ICO also have financial programs that are compatible with the main funds obtained through the economic development plan of As Pontes.
